Geschmacksfragen: Our Shame

Your current favourite Song?
“Summer Air” – by us! It’s the most rhythmically unhinged song we’ve ever made. And also “Séance” by James Blake & Ludwig Göransson. I just watched Sinners, and I was completely drawn in by how the lyrics and sound design are both hauntingly beautiful.
Your current favourite record?
We saw her live in Hamburg, it was absolutely out of this world. I love her raw energy and aesthetics, combining modular synths with pop-driven intensity. I even got the vinyl, despite not owning a record player at the moment.
Your favourite place?
Paris. Just traveled there and was super inspired that I produced multiple songs for our upcoming album “Hidden Album”. Especially at our co-producer Ella’s studio, there’s a garden that made me feel embraced by the floral serendipity.
Taipei. Our hometown! Where we were born and where our music is made. You can find delicious food anytime, even in the middle of the night. Which is a huge blessing for night owls like us.
Your favourite drink?
Well, for Estelle, it would be cold brew lemon coffee. The most refreshing and tasty in the summer air. For Isan, sake, of course. We are planning on making alcohol related merchandise to fit our drummer’s taste.
Your favourite food?
Currywurst. Juicy wurst smothered in tangy, spiced curry and ketchup, simply the best. And hot pot, especially with freshly sliced beef. As for sweets, Flan is my favorite.
What you’d like to read about yourself but hasn’t been written about you yet?
“Sold-out shows across Europe!” We haven’t toured Europe yet, but we’d absolutely love to start with Germany and France. We had such a great time in Hamburg and Paris, we ended up writing songs there. I can’t wait to come back, reminisce, and explore even more of these inspiring cities.
Thank you for the Answers!
