Geschmacksfragen: Panic Shack

Die UK Pop-Punk Band Panic Shack hatten wir euch hier auf dem Blog mit ihren Singles über die letzten Monate schon des Öfteren vorgestellt. Am 18. Juli ist dann auch endlich ihr selbstbetiteltes Debüt-Album erschienen. Wenn ihr da noch nicht reingehört habt, holt das bitte schnell nach. Die Band um Sarah Harvey, Meg Fretwell, Romi Lawrence, Em Smith und Nick Doherty-Williams aus Cardiff klingt nach „early LA-style punk with choreography that owes something to the Go-Go’s and Iron Maiden all at once.“ schreibt The Guardian. Auf Tour geht die Band damit natürlich auch, und vier Termine gibts im November auch bei uns. Unter anderem am 25. November in Orange House in München.

All throughout our recent tour and continuing into the months after we’ve been obsessed with Jordan Firstman’s concept album, Secrets.

Your favourite place?

Wherever all the girls are. Genuinely, if we’re together we could be absolutely anywhere; the girls loos or a fancy establishment (haven’t been in one yet but I hear they’re great) we will be cracking up having probably what we like to call “the best day of our life” (we have a lot of those)

Your favourite drink?

MARGARITASSSS!! Spicy if it’s an option. They just never fail. Tequila is elite, keeps ya goin, gets ya where ya wanna be you know. And obvs they’re delicious.

Your favourite food?

We will always hunt for a ramen whatever city we’re in. It’s fresh, it’s spicy, it’s big, full of flavour, just cannot beat a good ramen. Even a shit ramen is a good ramen. RAMEN.

What you’d like to read about yourself but hasn’t been written about you yet?

We’ve never read a review of OUR DEBUT ALBUM!!! Because it comes out July 18th ahhhhhh!!!! So we’re very excited see people’s faves and theories. We may even enjoy the trolls thoughts on it too, they always have such thoughtful insight to our music hehe xoxo
