Geschmacksfragen: philine

Your current favourite Song?
I’m very obsessed with “Rein Me In” by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean. I always love it when some of my favorite artists collaborate, but this one just makes me feel melancholic and nostalgic—and makes me want to move my feet at the same time.
Your current favourite record?
My current favorite record is one of my all-time favorites: “Deeper Well” by Kacey Musgraves. Ever since it came out, I haven’t gotten bored of it and keep discovering new favorites—especially since the extended version, “Deeper Into The Well,” dropped. I actually feel the exact same way about Lizzy McAlpine’s extended album, “Older (And Wiser).” Those extra songs became my new favorites.
Your favourite place?
At the campsite. I love camping, I love nature, and I love the mindful way of living. I feel like, at the campsite, my brain is the way it’s supposed to be. I’m so much less stressed, less agitated, and more in touch with myself. I wish I could bring the campsite with me to the city.
Your favourite drink?
I’ve been doing some acupuncture lately, and I’ve had to drink a lot of hot drinks. I’ve always loved drinking tea, and I love the way it makes my body feel. So especially right now, I’d say tea. But I also love a matcha latte.
Your favourite food?
Probably anything Indian. I’m obsessed with cooking Indian dishes—I just really love the warming spices and the textures of Indian curries.
What you’d like to read about yourself but hasn’t been written about you yet?
That’s all up to the ones writing about me, but I love when someone goes really in-depth into my lyrics. It makes me feel seen, understood, and appreciated. I love that!
