7 Fragen an The Subways

Charlotte, how often have you been asked to be someone’s rock and roll queen? If not that often, will you be mine?
Haha! Are you anyone’s rock’n’roll queen?!

Which of your songs would you play for someone, who doesn’t know you and your music, to convince him?
I think „We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time“ is a good representation of our music – a punk rock song, with a melody you can sing along to.

Do you rather play in small clubs or in big concert halls?
We’re lucky we get to play all kinds of shows. I love the intensity of a small gig, with sweat and beer flying everywhere. I also love how awesome a huge crowd looks from the stage – everyone moving in time is quite an incredible sight!

What was the silliest question in an interview?
Anything related to Subway sandwiches is pretty lame!

Do you have the time to do some sightseeing while you’re on tour? Have you had the time to see something from Nürnberg and do you like it here?
I love Nuernberg! I’ve been there a couple of times now – once to DJ, which was a load of fun! I also stayed in Nuernberg when I did Challenge Roth in 2013 – I celebrated the day after the race at the beach bar by the river in town – I love that place!

If you had three minutes in a record shop, what kind of genre would you rummage through?
Pop! I love big female pop starts like Kylie Minogue and Madonna!

If you have to play one song to the world, what song would it be?
„Lovefool“ – The Cardigans. This is one of my all time favourite songs – its a pop classic!
